Fashorama will be the first rental platform for high-end women’s fashion in Bulgaria. It focuses on formal wear (dresses for weddings/proms) and designer accessories. The market problems that Fashorama addresses are multifold: affordability, quality, variety and convenience. A quality designer dress is highly desired, but unaffordable for most young women. Moreover, formal dresses are worn once or twice which makes them even more economically ineffective. Most offerings are of mediocre quality, dictated by the need to maintain low prices. The option to rent will give consumers access to better quality and greater variety at the fraction of the price. Building an online platform with gamification features will turn Fashorama into a vibrant community for fashion-aware consumers and a valuable marketing channel for brands. Preliminary surveys in Bulgaria have been very encouraging and validated the market demand. We plan future expansion into other Eastern European markets
