Elegus Technologies is a membrane technology company specializing in a novel ion-conducting membrane (ICM), originally developed under Dr. Nicholas Kotov at the University of Michigan. As of now, our technology is fully developed (modifications can be easily introduced depending on the intended application) and will continue to be optimized in regards to the production process and furthering relationships with customers. We are currently exploring usage of this technology as separator material for Li-ion batteries, but the material has initial promise in other domains as well: fuel cell PEMs (proton electrolyte membranes), supercapacitor separator/membranes, and medical ultrafiltration membranes.
