Cicada is a retro point and click graphic adventure. We are a small group of three; with a passion for retro design, gameplay and music. ParkShare.net is designed to help motorists find cheap (or free) parking spaces by using private driveways; a simple concept which could really help commuters cut the cost of motoring and at the same time give homeowners in congested towns and cities some extra help. ParkShare is built to be cheaper and easier than all other similar sites. For a start it’s completely free of charge to search, join and list a space, and a user only pays a flat fee of 10% of the total once the space is booked (and we even pay their PayPal fees out of that too!) But unlike all the other parking sites, there is also a ‘Community” option. A ‘Community space’ is one where no money is involved, just an exchange of services. For example an elderly person might have a spare parking space, but not have the ability to mow their lawn during the summer, or perhaps be able to get to the shops to buy groceries. These sorts of local and helpful arrangements can be listed completely free of charge.  Read more
Move'm changes how students search for housing. Think trip advisor but for student housing. Students usually change house every 11 months, yet there is no service which compares houses from all estate agents. Landlords have become lazy, and all over the UK students are losing deposits and living in poor conditions. Students leave reviews of their housing experience with Move'm. Other students can then search for their ideal house with our unique filtering system. They can read reviews of the estate agent/landlord/house and make an informed decision. The other half of Move'm is geared towards estate agents. We can provide estate agents with detailed customer feedback, and valuable data about the local housing trends. Currently there is no unanimous feedback system for agents. That is Move'm. Built by students, for students.  Read more
Online events registration software which allows customers to run multiple events quickly and easily. Fits into the market between Eventbrite (one-size fits all booking system) and Regonline (feature-heavy but slow/low usability). EventHQ uses a pay as you go business model where all bookings are paid for (even free ones). Whereas Eventbrite which has to harness paying users to subsidise free users by charging a variable % of ticket prices, we can compete on price and quality and are better value for tickets of approx > £58. Customers are small to medium size charities, local government organisations, event organisers and consultants/SMEs offering workshops in their area (e.g. IP lawyers) Read more
