Moscow government representatives will present the city’s startup ecosystem at Ecosystem Summit

On February 22, 2022, the next quarterly Startup Ecosystem Summit will take place, where the leaders of the StartupBlink rankings will talk about their successes in various areas of startup ecosystem development.

Special attention will be given to the peculiarities of counteraction to the COVID-19 pandemic with the help of innovative technologies. Moscow will present its key solutions at the event. In particular, the focus will be on the breakthrough vaccine, online education systems and innovations in medicine.

The StartupBlink Ecosystem Summit is a quarterly gathering of some of the world’s foremost experts and leaders in ecosystem development, and offers a forum for learning and knowledge-sharing on what it takes to create an environment where entrepreneurship flourishes. This is the fourth time the event has taken place. It attracts media attention from around the world as leaders and experts from major cities present the solutions and policies that have enabled them to make impressive strides in building their startup community.

As a Global Startup Ecosystem Research Center, StartupBlink’s work revolves around understanding the latest trends in ecosystems and making comparative analyses between locations. In our work they try to answer questions such as ‘How can cities further economic prosperity into the next decade with innovation and technology? Which cities should entrepreneurs relocate to in 2022?” and “How do you change the perceptions of up-and-coming startup ecosystems? The representatives of StartupBlink believe an ecosystem is a product, it has to be marketed as such and the responsibility falls to ecosystem developers. Therefore, we are excited to feature special edition pitching events at the summit, where ecosystem developers from 12 cities will be showcasing to entrepreneurs and investors the strengths and features of their ecosystems.
