tuCloud was the first Desktops-as-a-Service (DaaS) provider and we specialize in building and hosting private virtual desktop clouds for our customers.
Our customers include Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Sandia National Laboratory (SNL), UCLA and SAIC.
In 2013 we launched the worlds first DaaS Engine, a proprietary virtual desktop platform, designed to cost-effectively scale Desktop-as-a-Service clouds on commodity hardware.
We offer a free-to-use Community Edition of our DaaS Engine which you can download from our SourceForge page here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/tucommunity/
Our DaaS Engine is based on a grid distributed architecture, with no shared components, meaning no scalability bottlenecks or expensive SAN storage required.
To scale up, just add more commodity servers to the grid, we designed the DaaS Engine to be easy to set up, build and deploy.
The DaaS Engine tagline is 'Infinitely Scalabale, Insanely Easy' for good reason.
