Zoomaal is the leading crowdfunding platform looking to reveal the ambitions of ambitious talents in the Arab world. Zoomaal is a pan-arab initiative by four major institutional investors in the MENA region recently featured on CNN, Forbes, Booz & Co, New York Times, Wamda, etc.
Zoomaal's key proposition is to connect the thousands of creative projects in the MENA region that need funding, to Arab expats in the West that are eager to give back to their home communities.
Zoomaal follows the reward-based all-or-nothing model (same model as Kickstarter), opposed to the reward-based flexible-funding model (by Indiegogo), or equity-based model (like Eureeca, CrowdCube). i.e. People who fund projects on Zoomaal, receive rewards in return not equity. Every project has a limited time-period to raise the financial goal they have set, if they do not raise it by the deadline, all the money goes back to the contributors and the project is marked as unsuccessful.
