Zappd is a digital reward service, which leverages geo-location based technology to not only provide high-street retailers with the ability to identify unknown customers and create conversation with them but also build and manage their own unique rewards campaigns and improve brand exposure across it's own community and other social media networks.
The product consists of two main parts:
1) The Content Management System (CMS) and 2) a smartphone application.
The CMS acts as the controlling gateway for the retailer to manage the business logic of their reward schemes, track usage and learn more about the demographics and habits of their customers. It offers a great opportunity to impact customer movements by the clever analytics and the ability to target individual segments of consumers.
The smartphone application is the vehicle through which the end-user interacts with the venue to collect and redeem reward points. It is free to download and use.
