Small Lot homes have a proven track record of success in Los Angeles. The product has been wildly popular with consumers. Homebuyers are attracted to Small Lot Home’s well designed layouts, contemporary designs, and attainable prices that are located in walkable areas within close proximity to jobs.
A dominate builder has yet to emerge in this space. Most Small Lot projects are too small for publicly traded national homebuilders. Private builders have shown great interest. However, the lack of a steady capital source has prevented a builder from capturing significant market share.
A gap in the market exists. A builder backed by sufficient capital can capture market share to become the dominate player. Private builders are in a race to find the capital source that can make this a reality.
