WANDERING SHEPHERD RELEASES NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR TRACKING
Wireless Rumen Bolus updated with new technology that has yet to be seen in any other tracking methods. This device is inserted into the Rumen, which is the first and largest division of the stomach. This high performance device is used for detecting temperature, estrus cycle, sickness, and tracks location. The wireless Rumen Bolus can be used on cattle, bison, buffalo, and 150 wild and domestic species.
Our system uses the Earth’s magnetic (Geomagnetic) field by recording the magnitude and other important factors that are sent back to our datacenter by satellite to produce exact calculations of the animal’s location.
While an ear tag has to be replaced several times during the life of a cow, the advantage of using a bolus is that it remains in position throughout the animal’s life and is almost impossible to dislodge or remove, making it a safe, permanent and tamper-proof method of electronic identification.
