Gap between the travel industry and consumer
How does an advertiser or content creator stay with the consumer from the moment a traveler imagines a vacation to the point of sale? Consumers read travel magazines or watch videos and say “I want to do that.” At that very moment, the travel industry is nowhere close to securing the sale.
The industry must move the consumer to the computer or mobile device and hope they correctly land on the content. Then what? There’s no place to save the content and begin planning a trip. It’s unlikely the ad will be viewed at the exact time the consumer is ready to leave home. Advertisers hope the consumer “bookmarks” or remembers their ad and finds it later, at the moment of sale.
Wandercast bridges this gap. Users watch videos or read content and save it to a “suitcase” where an itinerary and map marking the proximity of each activity is created. When flight, hotel, event tickets are needed, they appear “live” in the side bar.
