Why are museums, theme parks, landmarks, and parks still using paper maps and audio devices from the 80's? We are building a service that matches visitors with places they want to see. Locations can create virtual tours; learn about their visitors preferences; and advertise their newest exhibits.
Visitors are guided to points of interest with a beautiful multimedia interface, while listening to the curator's voice. There’s also a web portal, so users can experience and learn before they go. An account on Sideguide can double as a website for locations, similarly to Github pages, seemlessly integrated with the experience of actually being there.
Our main customers include locations with points of interest. It is becoming increasingly expensive for these destinations to create or maintain a mobile navigation experience, website, and advertising campaign. We see an unique opportunity here to improve the experience within, and success of, the tourism and art industries.
