Sap House Meadery produces and sells hand-crafted meads, or honey wines out of unique and locally sourced ingredients. Mead is an alternative beverage that is gluten-free. It can take on many flavors, aromas and textures, depending on the ingredients and methods used.
Sap House is open for free tours and tastings every Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 P.M. The company self-distributes it's meads to fine restaurants and stores throughout New Hampshire. It has partnered with distributors in seven others states and is growing steadily.
The Meadery was founded in 2010 by two young entrepreneurs, Ash Fischbein and Matt Trahan. They grew the company from a side project to a successful company with multi-state distribution in just a few short years.
