I have designed a monitored infection control and compliance systems (MICCS) for the hospital environment.
MICCS prevents Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). It provides hospitals with a means to ensure hand sanitation compliance for staff, patients and visitors. This is the only system to do that. It also is the only system that has interactive teaching for visitors.
HAI are a leading cause of death (99,000 deaths/year) in hospitals. Poor hand hygiene is the leading cause. MICCS provides the best solution to the key problems. It monitors staff compliance in near real time. Provides reminders to staff when their hand hygiene compliance degrades. It educates visitors and periodically reminds them to sanitize.
Also, MICCS is the only system that empowers patients to be a "team member" in protecting themselves.
MICCS has unique and highly desirable advantages in cost, ease of deployment, adaptability to changing conditions and clinical analytics.
