1) A user starts by connecting the social media services that they already use, with one option to connect their purchasing history via a bank API's (similar to mint.com)
2) They then nominate “Influencers” from their friendship group. We want to know who their "Foodie" friends are, or who they trust for product recommendations.
3) They then nominate “Icons” from a predetermined group of taste makers. These are people like food bloggers, or music editors at magazines etc. The user might not know these people personally, but they are people the user trusts.
4) Prvdr then uses a complex algorithm to recommend restaurants, events and products that it thinks the user will be interested in. The user can provide direct feedback via a tick/cross mechanic.
Prvdr has a revenue model from day 1. We make money by affiliate referrals, native advertising and research analytics. It's similar to Pinterest's revenue model, except everything on Prvdr is for sale.
