Oxriver Capital is hedge fund that attempts to outperform the market by using quantitative signals that predict bull or bear markets.
While past returns are not indicative of future returns, internal analysis suggests that the fund’s current strategy would have led to $100 dollars invested growing into over $1,000 over the last 20 years before fees and expenses. Investing $100 in a S&P 500 index fund would have returned about $500 from 1993 to Q2 2013. The fund launched in October 2013 and has made 5.2 percent after fees in its first 2.5 months of trading, beating the relevant hedge fund indexes. See the warnings at www.oxrivercapital.com/about, in the investors presentation, and private placement memorandum.
The fund is managed by Linus Wilson. Dr. Wilson earned a doctorate in financial economics from University of Oxford in England in 2007. Dr. Wilson is an investment adviser representative for Vermilion Advisory Services.
