Our app is called Opensea and it is an anonymous social network for college students. It is available on both IOS and Android devices. The app is free and only available for U.S. based college students, so our customers are college students. Users download the app, enter their .edu email, gender, then select register. The users are able to see posts and like them but they can not post until they have verified their email. All posts have a male or female symbol along with blue/pink identifiers. A user can see all the posts from their school or click "All" to see the posts from every school in the system. Any student who has a verified email can reply to posts from other schools, but they can't post as that school. We launched last Monday and we have a total of 1,269 users on the app. Our app allows students to be themselves again online by escaping the fear of judgement. Since it is network based instead of location, the conversation is relevant when you leave campus.
