At the base of all human tissue is a form of skeleton or scaffold. We developed a broad technology platform that creates these scaffolds in a way that the body readily accepts, bridging the significant performance gap between the existing markets for biologics and synthetics. Unlike competing solutions, we create and align a variety of FDA-approved fibers smaller than 1/100th the size of a human hair in multi-layer scaffolds that control cell growth and proliferation. Our tissue integrates into the body quickly and without immune repression drugs. Our trachea technology and products were used for all the first five nanofiber human trachea replacements and can be used for a host of products including esophagus, tendon, bone, wound care, arteries and veins, intestine, etc, on a $20 billion annual global market.
