Nalanda helps students learn through company sponsored career tracks. We are building a 4 stage approach towards career planning. We let students discover different career paths at companies, identify skillsets required for those career paths, take courses to build the skillsets and finally take part in a challenge for a company.
We license content from multiple third party sources and the education would be paid by the company that is sponsoring the career path. In return, the company gets a trained pool of employees who could then be quickly onboarded.
To improve the value to the companies, we allow them to post a challenge - anything from building a simple landing page for startup to building a mobile app for Windows platform.
Students would be offered these challenges at the end of their career plan and could use this to gain attention of the company. This way companies get a chance to crowdsource solutions to their problems and identify talented candidates.
