Mealspring is a web service built to simplify the process of meal planning for a busy parent as much as possible.
Mealspring tracks my cooking habits and analyzes my family's eating preferences. This process evolved over time as I identified certain triggers that seemed to influence whether my family liked or disliked meals that I made. Factors such as weather, seasons, variety, etc. are used to determine ideal menu selections each week. I can track my family's responses to the foods I make to keep the ones that score well. The more feedback I get from my family about the meals I make, the more intelligent Mealspring becomes at picking out the best meals for me to make.
The prototype for Mealspring is now live and accepting new users, but future expansion for the application include mobile app development and api integration with other web services such as grocery price finders and nutritional value data.
