LoveAbles provides parents who feel they have no time to sacrifice the convenience of disposable diapers with feasible and affordable cloth diaper alternative. Disposable diapers amount to 1.5 tons of waste deposited into landfills across the country for each child, and parents spend about $2,500 over approximately 18 months for that privilege. By contrast, LoveAbles plans to offer a suite of cloth diaper laundry services (in addition to retail sales); with the weekly pick-up & drop-off $20 service amounting to $1,560 over the same period of time.
LoveAbles also aligns with Sioux Falls Mayor Huether's waste reduction goals for the city. Our current landfills will be full before the end of two years' time, with nine new landfills having recently been dug. This is a growing trend across the country, as is the return to cloth diapers. This means that parents, the municipality, and city taxpayers all benefit from the LoveAbles business model.
