Currently online courses are available on many websites (coursera, EdX, MIT OCW), but courses there, although of high quality, are rather loosely arranged. So whenever someone is studying something, he rarely passes beyond the introductory level of some discipline, because a) he doesn't know what to study next (with existing knowledge) or b) the course isn't available.
Knowledge Tree provides a platform that pools all the links to the university courses that are available online and arranges them in a tree-like structure based on which course is a prerequisite to another. Users can see what path they need to take to master the subject of their choice (just like in a real university).
We seek to derive the revenue from connecting employers to our users that have suitable profiles and advertising.
Currently we have an offline prototype of the functionality.
