KienVe is a free mobile app for users that creates a real-time micro social network for users who are watching the same TV programs and ads. Users are able to exchange opinions, comments, watch videos and more. KienVe uses mobile devices’ built-in microphones to gather brief samples of TV sounds to validate user's check-in in real time.
KienVe allows channels and brands to interact with users through ads, polls, promotions and selected content.
Brands and TV networks have access to analytics where it could be find a new currency to measure the TV viewers' engagement in each TV program integrating all the social buzz in other social networks.
The product was launched in Chile by the end of February 2013 and has reached 80,000 downloads so far and more than US$ 45K in revenues from its reports platform and advertising.
KienVe was awarded as the "Hot Company Of The Year" at the Festival Of Media LatAm held in Miami (Sep/12) and the "Best StartUp in LatAm" by PulsoSocial (Mar/13).
