QXT is a smartphone application that is used for asking subjective questions for which human judgment or recommendation is desired.
Once downloaded, QXT's algorithm routes questions to users based on their expertise, location and other data in their profiles.
QXT also features a gamification model where users can allot a Karma point for every question and answer. The Karma point system gives users a "Do Good, Get Good" feel. In the plans are badges like "Mavenship" for a user who gets the most number of Karma points within a particular location radius. For example, a user can become the Maven of 500 Startups, Mountain View. Also in the plans are answer plugins where people would be able to clip in content from the likes of Wikipedia and Youtube along with their answers.
Over the last few months, we have tested the app among a closed beta group of 100 users with positive results. We plan to hit the app stores in early 2014.
