Traditionally, there’s always a bit of a disconnect between e-commerce sites and social networking. Most e-commerce sites don’t have the motivation or focus in really utilizing social media traffic which is why Facebook likes and Tweets are the extent of what they call social integration.
What we’re building is an e-commerce platform that allows the sellers to provide products while we build the social network required to drive sales. This is something that sellers need because we allow them to focus on being a seller, and we promote their products for them. Online store owners currently hire interns or social media experts or spend hours trying to promote their product themselves through the various social networks.
