Haven Connect allows nonprofit case managers to fill out one set of data (a master housing application) for each of their clients, so it can be used across multiple housing applications. Clients can electronically sign consents and housing applications. This allows case managers to apply to more housing in less time, and increase the likelihood of client placement (which is what non-profit contracts are evaluated on). Reasonable Accommodations and address updates can be completed via the web or via a text interface.
Ultimately, Haven Connect aims to create a system for affordable housing developments as well, so waitlist numbers can be communicated to clients and nonprofits via email and smartphones. This would allow housing developments to vastly reduce or potentially eliminate the number of paper applications they receive, as well as slashing their data entry requirements.
