Gogette Communications provides proven, high-tech, group communications technology at a low cost by offering it as-a-service for short term use. The service enables event managers and project supervisors to collaborate with their team in real-time regardless of device type, location or network. Gogette is adopting the BYOD (bring your own device) model, allowing customers to use their existing devices e.g. radios, smart phones, tablets and PC’s, to download an app, and instantly connect to their talk group through the internet, wi-fi, or carrier data plan. The service can be subscribed to for the duration of the event or project, configured to meet the needs of any size team or type of event, and paid for by the day. The service can also be pre-provisioned and kept in stand-by mode for unplanned incidents. Gogette’s service is less expensive and provides greater utility than existing group communication solutions such as 2-way radios and carrier push-to-talk solutions.
