Around the world, millions of tons of carbon dioxide are being consumed each year. Not emitted but used for applications such as the production of carbonated beverages and the growth of greenhouse crops. Unfortunately, most of this CO2 is produced through CO2 positive reactions. This CO2 ultimately adds to the overall level of the greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. But why not use the overly abundant CO2 already in the atmosphere thereby making CO2 production a carbon neutral process?
