Flavor Wine Retail is new retail concept in San Francisco's Jackson Square that targets the largest segment of the wine market: people who enjoy wine but are not experts or aficionados. They find today's retail environment confusing, the labels, regions, varietals, language, and scores rarely helpful in identifying the wines they will like. Flavor offers a new schematic that makes it easy for people to find the wines taste good to them, and records those preferences so we know what our customers want. We use this to look for and stock higher margin offerings, and target our marketing so we pitch special deals to the people we know will want them.
Flavor will start as a wine shop with a wine lounge and web storefront. The Lounge serves to continually prospect new customers from the entire city where they become regular customers, buying primarily through our targeted special offers to them and our web storefront.
