Running for 6 months we automatize the Q&A section in events by letting the audience send their questions using mobile devices. Moderated questions are shown in real time, allowing for better selection, distribution, and less technical problems (priced at U$200~U$400, 20 clients).
We also let polls to be made in real time and we are working on integration with websites to increase engagement.
Our next move is to translate our solution into a polling app like polar (thumb, gopollgo) to explore this opportunity. Brazilians love answer polls and have dominated several social networks, as long as they are in Portuguese. Brazil has high costs for doing consumer research due to our infrastructure which our solution could address and monetize from, allowing a natural exit if acquired by market research companies.
We are one of a very few startups in the country that includes in the team a top school PhD seasoned executive, and a CTO from Globo (largest media company).
