Video games are too homogenous these days. Consumers are becoming more sophisticated. They are bored of the social game template. They are intolerant of heavy-handed monetization techniques. They want Hollywood level of storytelling, characterization, and production quality in their video games. On top of all that, they want it to be new and fresh.
We are targeting the mid-core to core demographic, which makes up nearly 300 million gamers worldwide. These gamers are generally the heaviest spenders, making up a majority of the estimated $100B of sales in 2014. The two most engaging genres are Action Games and MOBA Games, which generated over 2 billion hours of gaming in 2013. We are targeting the intersection of those two genres.
