Craaave identifies music playing on your device (i.e. your music player) or around you (i.e. Shazam style), and captures the spontaneous desire to share music while listening. Launch Craaave to find the currently playing song on the cloud, ready to send to selected friends.
Our sharing paradigm is designed to encourage the empathic one-to-one style of communication rather than the one-to-many “public feed” model. You can send songs to one or many recipients, but recipients receive each song as it if it were a private, personalized message. This way, each share can be sent privately, broadcasted, or both.
We centralize music sharing by linking users’ Rdio, Spotify, or Soundcloud accounts and allowing them to save received songs directly to their libraries. Users can also buy songs from iTunes if they don’t stream.
