As a provider of eCommerce channel intelligence for big brands, the interesting thing that we found is that the lines of communication between retailer and manufacturer are archaic and extremely fragmented. After the 1000th time our brands asked us to send out a blast email to their retailers with updates on their behalf, we decided there was a product market fit for a platform to bridge the communication gap between manufacturers and retailers.
We created is a social CRM and dealer network platform targeted to the relationship properties and functions of the manufacturer/retailer relationship. It’s not social in the sense that the users are sharing pics of their kids or funny cat videos, but instead they are posting company updates, product launches, documents & distributing product content to their channel partners. Our platform also recommends new products and brands to retailers, based on their existing connections, to create sales leads for the brands and manufacturers.
