Chakra is a new take on the digital journal/diary, one in which we're asking the why -- why people write in journals, what they benefit from doing it -- and productizing those insights. At Chakra we strongly believe that writing in a journal can be just as important for your mental health as physical exercise is for your physical health.
Writing requires one to express their thoughts and emotions to the fullest extent, making them whole and leading to new insights and inspiration. It's also quite simply a healthy outlet to express your feelings and get emotions off your chest.
What we're working to do is transform the journal/diary for the digital age. What other digital journals fail to do is recognize the potential of this new medium to create new experiences that allow people to express their feelings, draw out their thoughts, and find the negative patterns that take a toll on happiness. We hope to be the ones to make that change.
