Religions in order to thrive became businesses and businesses in order to survive became Religions. Believing in a Religion is no different than believing in a brand. You will gladly reach your wallet and contribute extra money in order to maintain that belief system alive, so that you can continue revere it. It’s a human psychological condition that we all want to be a part of something. To join in a larger group of like minded individuals and share the same beliefs.
