Showrooming (customers viewing products in-store and purchasing online) is going to cost retailers >$200b in sales losses. This can be prevented by boosting in-store engagement using the mobile phone. We invented a way for retailers to send push notifications to their customer's mobile phone based on their in-store behaviour like:
"Send a 10% first-time offer IF a customer steps into the shop for the first time" or "Send a product recommendation for bedsheets IF a customer stays in the bedsheets section for more than 5 minutes"
Our solution comprises of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors placed in-store, a mobile app software development kit (SDK) that they drop into their existing apps and a web-based control panel where they define the triggers and actions. For retailers that do not have their own app, we can provide them with white labelled apps for their store, or they can build their own apps with any WYSIWYG app development platform that we have partnerships with.
