"Cricout" is a hangout for cricket fans where friends can huddle up to follow a game together. It reconnects globally distributed friends and allows them to interact with the magical moments of the game in the form of emotions, opinions and pictures.
cricout.com beta was launched in June 2013 and currently has 15,000 monthly users. The companion iPhone app was launched in October 2013 and has so far received 15,000 downloads (as of Feb, 2014). The Android version is its final stages of testing and will be release to the app store by the end of Feb 2014.
The growth has mostly been organic supported by a very lean marketing spend on Facebook. The ad campaigns tend to get app downloaded for every 15 cents and the user retention rate is as high as 70%.
